Legacy of Champions Capital Campaign
The Legacy of Champions Capital Campaign, launched in July 2024, invites all CJRC teammates and supporters to celebrate the program's success and secure its future.
Since 1993, CJRC has become a leading program in the Midwest and nationally. The boys' and girls' teams have won 20 team championships at the Midwest Junior Rowing Association competition and over 30 medals at National Championships, including 15 national titles. We are asking these early team members who established a culture of CJRC being fierce competitors while also forming lifelong friendships to come forward now to support the program to ensure CJRC has the necessary resources to stay competitive.
The Legacy of Champions campaign aims to raise $153,000 by July 2025 to buy two new 8+,four new 4+ shells, oars and a modern trailer for safe transportation to competitions. Keith Sutter, Captain of the Legacy of Champions campaign, calls on all his teammates and all supporters to join him in ensuring the continued success of CJRC. As Keith says, "CJRC opened many doors for me. I owe the program and my teammates a TREMENDOUS debt. I am proud to support CJRC and hope my teammates will join me to make the Legacy of Champions campaign a success."
Thanks to great initial support, we have already raised over $132,000!! This is a great start, but we need everyone's support to reach our goal.
